The Spacial Kōan

This was written in homage of the masterful video, found at the end of this post.
(I recommend the HD option)

Because no one witnessed the tree
Collapsing in the forest
Does not mean that its impact
Won’t resonate with force
And thus, echo in a chorus
That can be felt all around
Because distant ears can’t hear it
Does that mean there’s no sound?

Around fast-moving air
You clearly hear whispers
Of many faceless voices
Solemnly, calling hither
Such an inviting whistle
A melodically deep hum
Yearn to follow in its movement
Yet can’t match its freedoms

Seething splitting of random atoms
Results in sonic booms
Perceived light, before the sound
Trailed by chronic doom
Rattling more than just the core
Of the internal mind frame
Addled thought processes
Make for unfavorable mind games

Mustn’t ignore the senses
Due to excess distractions
May not bask in its presence
But one can’t deny crashes
Watch as the light romances
Just as quick as the sky flashes
Too formidable to comprehend
Can’t simply apply answers

A solo appendage dances
Breeze eases through its digits
Can you hear it?
Is it able to pierce your spirit?
And awaken within it
An edification of such
Thinking it’s oddly inaudible
But it’s more than much

Plush lunar tendencies,
Endlessly affect the shore lines
Lush shallow pools increase
Like a beast, four times
Now, rise with this verse
And see that it’s not absurd
To fathom why the universe
Simply, doesn’t need words

  1. Perhaps no one witnessed it, but one movement, one tremble, has impacted its surroundings. There is recycled energy; the universe doesn’t need words. The human mind may not understand this, but it did cause a state of enlightenment. Open your mind that has been closed by society and by the responses of our world. What happened? Theory of relativity – Einstein was on to something…
